At Aquatic Designs, Inc., we build in-ground concrete pools and spas, and provide complete repair and renovation service. We also provide weekly maintenance for pools we build in our service area. Our family run business has operated for over 50 years, based in Sheffield, Massachusetts, the southwest corner of the State. Our range of construction and service encompasses the Tri-State area including Berkshire County, Massachusetts, Litchfield County, Connecticut, Columbia County, NY, and Dutchess County, NY.

In-ground concrete swimming pools and spas are constructed of a steel reinforced shell of pneumatically placed concrete, more commonly known as gunite or shotcrete. The application techniques differ slightly but the end result is the same. A gunite or shotcrete pool is extremely durable and aesthetically beautiful. Design choices are many and vary from the natural and whimsical to the formal and traditional.
